Key Responsibilities

1.Production Logistics & WIP Management

  • Drive Fab WIP control and inventory health to ensure stable production flow.
  • Manage wafer starts, lot movement, and slow-moving lot mitigation.
  • Oversee FOUP allocation, utilization, and logistics readiness.
  • Lead offload planning and execution to support capacity balancing and output commitments.
  • Ensure silicon inventory readiness and production continuity across the manufacturing network.
  1. Test Wafer & Silicon Management
  • Own test wafer budget planning and cost management.
  • Manage test wafer build, recycle, reclaim, and inventory strategies.
  • Support engineering experiments, qualification activities, and NPI readiness.
  • Drive test wafer quality, logistics discipline, and contamination prevention.
  • Coordinate network-wide test wafer activities to maximize resource utilization and operational effectiveness.
  1. Capacity & Resource Planning
  • Ensure readiness of Test Wafer Build, Recycle, Offload, and FOUP Washer capacities.
  • Monitor equipment loading and maintain capacity utilization within target thresholds.
  • Develop short-, mid-, and long-term capacity plans aligned with business demand.
  • Support fab ramp, MaxOut initiatives, and output delivery commitments.
  1. AMHS & Automated Material Handling Management
  • Manage AMHS operational performance, storage utilization, and transportation efficiency.
  • Cowork with AMHS for storage optimization and system improvement projects.
  • Drive cross-fab transportation flow and storage balancing strategies.
  • Oversee SIPP-related logistics execution and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure efficient empty FOUP management and material movement across the fab network.
  • Manage contractor manpower to support manually transfer for SIPP work
  1. Cost & Operational Excellence
  • Own Test Wafer and FOUP-related expense management.
  • Lead cost reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Improve labor efficiency through automation and process optimization.
  • Drive operational excellence via system enhancement, workflow simplification, and data-driven decision making.
  • Establish sustainable productivity improvement programs to support long-term manufacturing competitiveness.
  1. Quality & Risk Management
  • Ensure Test Wafer and FOUP quality compliance with zero-logistics-excursion objectives.
  • Manage offload cycle time and FOSB Q-time control.
  • Drive contamination prevention and process discipline.
  • Serve as audit owner and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and operational requirements.
  1. Organization & Talent Development
  • Lead PC Team operations, workforce planning, and contractor management.
  • Develop shift coverage strategies and resource allocation plans.
  • Drive employee training, capability development, and succession planning.
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, discipline, and 6S excellence.
  • Build a high-performing organization capable of supporting future manufacturing growth.
  1. AI & Digital Transformation for labor productivity
  • Lead AI adoption across production operations, logistics, and workforce productivity.
  • Drive development of AI-enabled reporting, predictive analytics, and automated decision-support systems.
  • Accelerate workflow digitalization through RPA, API integration, Copilot agents, and intelligent automation.
