About The Role

Bristlecone India Limited seeks a seasoned Senior Consultant with deep SAP ABAP expertise and hands‑on UI5 development experience. The role will support the S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team, delivering enhancements, custom interfaces, debugging, and production support while shaping modern UI5 applications for enterprise clients.

Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, BAPIs, and enhancements.
Create and customize SAP UI5/Fiori applications aligned with S/4HANA standards.
Integrate SAP modules using IDocs, ALE, RFC, and OData services.
Perform root‑cause analysis, debugging, and resolution of production incidents.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure performance optimization.
Support migration and upgrade activities for S/4HANA landscapes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and deployment packages.
Participate in client workshops and deliver technical presentations.
10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
Strong hands‑on expertise in SAP UI5/Fiori and OData services.
Proven experience with S/4HANA technical delivery and migration projects.
Deep knowledge of ABAP OO, BADI, Enhancement Spots, and SAP NetWeaver.
Experience building interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFC, and web services.
Excellent debugging and production support skills.
Ability to work independently and lead technical teams.
Strong communication skills in English; client‑facing experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
SAP certifications (ABAP, UI5/Fiori, S/4HANA) are a plus.
