About The Role

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant with deep SAP ABAP and Webdynpro expertise to drive end‑to‑end technical delivery within the S/4 HANA environment. The role involves crafting robust ABAP programs, enhancing existing functionality, building Webdynpro applications, and providing production support while ensuring alignment with best practices and client expectations.

Design, develop, and enhance ABAP objects, reports, BAPIs, IDOCs, and Webdynpro components for S/4 HANA projects.
Perform detailed debugging, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
Create and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems using ALE, RFC, and OData services.
Lead technical migration and upgrade activities from ECC to S/4 HANA.
Conduct performance tuning and code optimization to meet SLA targets.
Prepare technical documentation, functional specifications, and test scripts.
Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Provide on‑site and remote production support, including incident management and problem resolution.
Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and peer‑review processes.
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum 7 years of hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience.
Strong expertise in SAP Webdynpro (ABAP) and S/4 HANA technical stack.
Proven experience with enhancements, interfaces, debugging, and production support.
In‑depth knowledge of ABAP OO, BAPI, IDOC, ALE, and OData services.
Experience in performance tuning, code reviews, and SAP NetWeaver administration.
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery models.
SAP certification (e.g., ABAP, S/4 HANA) preferred.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
