About The Role
- Burris Laboratory School is seeking part-time, temporary athletic coaches to support and mentor students on various teams. Hours will include evenings and some weekends.
- Compensation is determined by specific role and responsibilities and normal range is $500.00-$6000.00 for the season.
- Candidates for this position must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
What you'll do and what you'll bring
Position function : Provide coaching and training to student athletes.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Coaching and Training: Develop and implement training programs
- Student Development : Help students establish personal and team goals.
- Game Management : Plan game strategies, select players
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for athletes, adhere to all school and safety standards, complete required safety training and implement necessary.
- Promote sportsmanship among athletes.
- Administrative Tasks: record keeping and reporting to school administrators and athletic director.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of applicable sport
- Must be able to effectively communicate to students, parents, officials, school administration.
