Temporary Burris Athletic Coach

• Burris Laboratory School is seeking part-time, temporary athletic coaches to support and mentor students on various teams. Hours will include evenings and some weekends.
• Compensation is determined by specific role and responsibilities and normal range is $500.00-$6000.00 for the season.
• Candidates for this position must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

What you'll do and what you'll bring

Position function : Provide coaching and training to student athletes.

​ Duties/Responsibilities

• Coaching and Training: Develop and implement training programs
• Student Development : Help students establish personal and team goals.
• Game Management : Plan game strategies, select players
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for athletes, adhere to all school and safety standards, complete required safety training and implement necessary.
• Promote sportsmanship among athletes.
• Administrative Tasks: record keeping and reporting to school administrators and athletic director.

Minimum Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of applicable sport
• Must be able to effectively communicate to students, parents, officials, school administration.
