OT Systems and Reporting Expert (Power BI, Python) - energy asset management

About The Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated Power BI reports and dashboards using data from solar and wind farms.
  • Integrate OT and IT systems and ensure reliable data transmission from renewable energy assets to central platforms.
  • Configure data concentrators, network devices, and industrial communication protocols used at renewable energy sites.
  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of telecommunications and data acquisition infrastructure, working with contractors and technology providers.
  • Configure new installations and energy meters in the GEOS and Numeron systems.
  • Develop Python scripts and custom solutions for data acquisition, processing, and validation.
  • Monitor telemetry data quality, identify anomalies, and escalate technical or operational issues.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting of network communication and OT system issues.
  • Cooperate with IT, international technical teams, data analysts, contractors, software providers, and equipment suppliers.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to other teams regarding the performance of renewable energy installations and monitoring systems.
  • Experience working with OT systems, telemetry, industrial automation, or energy asset monitoring systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Practical Python skills, particularly in data acquisition, processing, or automation.
  • Understanding of network communication and OT/IT system integration.
  • Knowledge of at least one industrial communication protocol: Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC 104, DLMS/COSEM, or OPC UA.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and verify the quality and accuracy of data.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and configure telecommunications or data acquisition equipment.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.
  • Good command of English, enabling effective cooperation with international teams and suppliers.
  • Independence, attention to detail, accountability, and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel to solar and wind farm sites.
  • Stable employment in a company belonging to an international group in the renewable energy sector (RES), implementing projects in the field of photovoltaics, wind energy and energy storage.
