Senior Resident Engineer

Inbox Business Technologies is seeking a motivated and technically inclined Junior Resident Engineer to join our team and support telecom deployment and operations. seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Resident Engineer to support telecom deployment and operations . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Linux, KVM virtualization, networking, SQL, and Bash scripting , along with solid troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to independently manage technical and operational requirements. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong communication and stakeholder management skills who can effectively support complex telecom environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support day-to-day telecom deployment and operations activities.
• Perform installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems and infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based environments and associated services.
• Work with KVM-based virtualization environments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking environments, including Linux soft switches and software-defined routers.
• Perform database-related operational activities using SQL.
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and operational requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Linux, virtualization, networking, and related environments.
• Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders for deployment and operational activities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, deployment records, configurations, and operational updates.
• Support junior technical resources and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Ensure assigned activities are completed in accordance with technical procedures and operational requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BSc) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field .
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience , preferably in telecom deployment, operations, infrastructure, or a related technical environment.
• Previous hands-on experience in telecom deployment and operations .
• Strong practical exposure to Linux, KVM virtualization, networking, SQL, and Bash scripting .
• Intermediate knowledge of Linux .
• Intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically KVM .
• Intermediate knowledge of networking , including Linux soft switches and software-defined routers.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL .
• Intermediate knowledge of Bash scripting .
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to independently execute assigned responsibilities.
• Strong willingness and ability to continuously learn and implement new technologies.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent), or virtualization certifications .
• Experience coordinating technical activities with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to guide and support junior technical resources.
