We work with the Department of War to provide the high-speed capabilities our nation and its allies need to maintain a durable, asymmetric advantage.The Technical Sourcer plays a vital role in our recruitment efforts, directly influencing Hermeus' ability to attract and hire top-tier talent. As a key member of our recruiting team, you’ll help shape the company’s talent strategy during a period of rapid growth. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with recruiters and engineering leaders to define and meet hiring needs. You’ll have the autonomy, tools, and support to execute our strategy and help build a world-class team at Hermeus.

We’re seeking a Technical Sourcer who can own the entire sourcing process and is excited to make a meaningful impact within a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert in prospecting techniques and tools used for information retrieval, data extraction, web-scraping, continuous process improvement, process automation, and candidate management

Conduct interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high interview-to-offer ratios

Engage passive candidates using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, referral and campaigns

Ensure a positive candidate experience at every touchpoint

Build talent maps to generate market insights to inform your engagement strategy

Represent the company's brand and recruiting team internally and externally

Leverage internal resources to build strategy around selling our value proposition

Qualifications

Over 3 years of experience sourcing top-tier talent for technical roles

2+ years of experience interacting with internal stakeholders, including collaborating with Hiring Managers and Directors to gather requirements, review candidate profiles, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress

Well-connected within the new space hardware engineering talent communities

Proven ability to take a consultative approach, delivering improved hiring outcomes, enhancing candidate experience, and earning the trust of peers and internal stakeholders

Strong grasp of the technical skills and qualifications required for engineering roles across the business

Skilled in communicating clearly with candidates to understand their motivations, career goals, and organizational fit

Experienced in managing multiple candidate pipelines and tracking their progress throughout the recruitment lifecycle

Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
