- St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead our Surgical Admission Unit (SAU) at our East Melbourne site.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a permanent full time role reporting to the Perioperative Services Manager.
You will provide clinical, operational and people leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient and patient-centred care while supporting a high-performing and engaged team.
The Surgical Admission Unit plays a pivotal role in preparing patients for surgery and facilitating seamless transition through their admission process. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the unit, driving excellence in clinical care, patient experience, workforce engagement and operational performance.

ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this exciting role, you will have the following
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Proven nursing leadership experience
- Strong people leadership, communication, operational management skills
- A commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and excellence in care.
- The ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams
