Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mechanical Foreman to oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems on construction sites. The Mechanical Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a team of skilled technicians and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanical technicians, ensuring that tasks are assigned and completed according to project schedules and specifications.
• Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC, and mechanical systems, in accordance with building codes and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that project deadlines are met and that any issues or delays are promptly addressed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and project progress.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment as needed, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment needed for projects, ensuring that they meet project requirements and budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification in mechanical systems preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanical foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, contractors, and clients.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
