About The Role

This opportunity is specifically for Western-qualified Consultants currently based in the USA or Europe seeking to relocate to the UAE.

SearchPlus HR is collaborating with a leading healthcare facility to recruit an experienced Consultant Interventional Radiologist. This prestigious role involves delivering advanced, minimally invasive image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within a state-of-the-art clinical environment.

As a Consultant Interventional Radiologist, you will play a key role in performing complex vascular and non-vascular interventions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of interventional radiology procedures including but not limited to angiography, embolization, biopsies, and ablations.
  • Interpret complex imaging studies and develop tailored treatment plans in coordination with referring physicians.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship within the radiology department to junior staff and colleagues.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to teaching, research, and professional development activities within the institution.

Requirements

  • Western medical qualification and board certification in Interventional Radiology (USA or European boards preferred).
  • Proven clinical experience performing a wide spectrum of interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume, multi-specialty setting.
  • Valid medical license or eligibility for licensing within the UAE.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, diverse healthcare environment.
  • Experience in clinical teaching and research is advantageous.
