The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from

  • $128,320 - $160,400

Job Summary

The Manager – AEM Financial & Business Services is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business support activities across Asset & Energy Management (AEM). This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, procurement processes, and workforce planning while providing actionable financial insights that support operational and business objectives.

The Manager partners closely with business leaders, Control, and Procurement to improve financial visibility, support decision-making, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Asset & Energy Management.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, KPIs, dashboards, and variance analyses to monitor business performance.
  • Provide timely analysis of financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities to support management decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial planning assumptions, reporting, and forecasts.

Financial Analysis & Decision Support

  • Support leadership with data-driven analysis to inform business decisions and priorities
  • Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases for key initiatives
  • Partner with business leaders to evaluate spending, resource allocation, and cost optimization opportunities

Procurement & Process Management

  • Oversee procurement processes for Asset & Energy Management, ensuring adherence to policies and financial controls
  • Partner with sourcing, finance, and operations to support execution of procurement activities and vendor engagement
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, transparency, and spend tracking

Process Improvement & Team Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for financial and business support functions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
  • Promote standardization, documentation, and adoption of best practices across business processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 7-10 years of experience in finance, business operations, financial planning and analysis, or a related field.
  • Prior experience leading teams, projects, or business processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly to management and business partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.

  • Strong leadership and people-management skills, able to inspire, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Ability to succeed in a complex, matrixed organization, ideally with international exposure.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time, including under tight deadlines.
  • Clear, effective communication in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Results-driven mindset, with the ability to set, track, and deliver against KPIs and key milestones.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, building productive relationships across departments to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to share and exchange information effectively with teams and stakeholders at different levels across the company.
