We’re Looking For A(n): HR Manager

Location: Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing

Manage the recruiting, staffing, and onboarding for all employees at the manufacturing plant
Provide expertise and direction to leaders on challenging and complex employee relations issues
Support the plant's performance review, merit planning, and bonus planning cycles, including managing communication to employees and providing direction and training to leaders
Partner with leaders to identify high potential employees or gaps in skills, build succession depth and bench strength to the teams
Partner with EHS on the reporting and management of workers' compensation cases
Maintain accurate and audit-ready fils and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment law, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and applicable wage and hour requirements
Provide leadership, direction and development opportunities to the plant's HR team
Maintain a visible, trusted presence on the production floor, building relationships with leaders and employees
Serve as the facility's primary HR partner to plant leadership on workforce planning, people decisions, employee development and employee programs

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

Associate degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field; Bachelor's degree in Human Resource, Business, Psychology, or other related field preferred
3+ years of supervisory experience in HR in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment
PHR or SHRM-CP is perferred
