KG Law Firm, a multidisciplinary, leading Greek law firm dating back to the 1930s and recognized as one of the most prestigious law firms in Greece, is seeking to recruit a motivated Senior Associate Lawyer to join its Banking & Financial Regulation practice.

Main responsibilities
We are looking for an ambitious, commercially minded and technically strong lawyer to join a growing team and play a key role in advising domestic and international financial institutions, investment firms, payment service providers, electronic money institutions, investors and corporates on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who enjoys combining transactional work with regulatory advisory mandates and who is keen to take an active role in the continued development of a growing practice.
You will manage complex client matters, lead workstreams and transactions, coordinate project teams and take ownership of client deliverables, while working closely with partners and mentoring junior lawyers.
- Banking and finance transactions
- Financial services regulatory advice relating to banks, payment institutions, electronic money institutions and other regulated entities
- Licensing, regulatory compliance and supervisory matters
- Payments, fintech, digital finance and related regulatory developments
- Transactional and regulatory due diligence exercises
- Corporate governance and regulatory investigations
- ESG and sustainable finance mandates
- Cross-border projects involving international clients, law firms and advisors
- Day-to-day client relationship management and project coordination
- Qualified lawyer in Greece with approximately 3-6 years' post-qualification experience
- Strong experience in banking, finance and financial regulation
- Experience advising on payments, electronic money, fintech or digital finance matters will be considered a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex matters, coordinate workstreams and interact directly with clients with an appropriate degree of autonomy
- Excellent drafting and communication skills in both Greek and English
- Strong analytical skills, commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a leading law firm, international law firm or financial institution will be favourably considered
- Postgraduate studies in a relevant field will be considered an asset
- Dual qualification, including qualification as a Solicitor of England and Wales, will be considered a significant advantage
