What’s the role?

As a Senior Manager in Business Transaction Banking BCM, you’ll play a key role in helping this significant portfolio confidently manage risks, strengthen our control environment, and deliver projects and change initiatives safely for our customers. You’ll work closely with leaders to identify emerging risks, respond to incidents and support considered decision-making across products and processes.

In this role, you’ll guide teams through risk, compliance and regulatory requirements across Business Transaction Banking products and services, including transaction and savings accounts, debit and credit cards, and specialised deposit products. You’ll support deep dives and thematic reviews, governance and monitoring activities, and help uplift our overall risk culture and maturity.

This is a full time role based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country, working in a dynamic environment where every day brings something new.

What do I need?

You’ll be a great fit if you’ve got

  • Strong experience in risk, compliance or operational control environments.
  • The ability to break down complex issues and provide clear, practical guidance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A knack for analysing issues, identifying root causes and driving meaningful improvement.
  • Confidence working in fast paced environments where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Experience within financial services managing both financial and non financial risk is ideal.
