Route Truck Driver

About The Role
Geoprobe® is seeking a Route Truck Driver to safely and efficiently transport parts and materials between our three Salina campuses. This position supports Engineering, Production, Service, Distribution, and ultimately our customers by keeping materials moving on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable, helpful, and comfortable working independently while communicating closely with teams across the company.

Responsibilities
- Transport parts and materials between three Salina campuses using a straight truck
- Complete three local routes each day, Monday through Friday; no over-the-road or out-of-town travel
- Drive safely and courteously in the community in all weather conditions
- Load and unload materials at each campus and ensure cargo is safely secured before transport
- Use a forklift and climb onto the truck bed as needed to load, unload, and strap parts
- Interact professionally with internal customers during pickups and deliveries
- Communicate schedule changes, irregularities, challenges, and concerns to the supervisor
- Adjust routes and priorities as needed to stay on schedule and support internal customers
- Coordinate with a second driver when schedule changes require additional support
- Work additional hours or complete extra routes when needed to support customers
- Learn our distribution and light assembly tasks and pitch in to help when available

Requirements
- Exceptional driving skills and a commitment to safe, courteous driving
- Forklift license required
- Physical strength and stamina to repeatedly enter and exit the truck, climb onto the truck bed, secure cargo, and load and unload parts
- Ability to work in varying environmental and weather conditions
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly, respond to change, and follow through despite challenges
- Willingness to work some overtime as needed
Bonus
- Class A CDL and knowledge of DOT regulations
- Three or more years of manufacturing experience
- Epicor or other ERP system experience
