StyleKorean Inc. is a global K-Beauty distributor operated by SILICON2 Co., Ltd. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated E-Commerce Operations Associate to support our growing U.S. e-commerce and wholesale operations.

This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in K-Beauty, online retail, and business operations. You will gain hands-on experience supporting order management, customer service, inventory coordination, product data, and daily e-commerce activities while collaborating with teams in the U.S. and South Korea.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Sales Associate to manage sales operations, buyer relationships, inventory, logistics, marketing initiatives, promotions, and compliance across multiple brands and accounts. This role will work directly with retail buyers and brand partners to support account growth, coordinate orders and programs, plan and follow up on marketing activities, and ensure accurate and timely execution across all sales channels.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role combines day-to-day sales operations with buyer communication, account coordination, marketing planning, and strategic problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

Buyer & Account Management

  • Work directly with retail buyers and account contacts to manage day-to-day communication and support account needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, brand partners, and internal teams
  • Communicate product updates, pricing, inventory availability, promotions, new launches, and seasonal programs to buyers
  • Coordinate buyer requests, follow up on open items, and ensure timely responses and execution
  • Support sales meetings, buyer presentations, line reviews, and account planning as needed
  • Track account opportunities, follow-ups, and action items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through new products, promotions, exclusives, and assortment expansion

Order & Inventory Excellence

  • Oversee end-to-end order processes to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment
  • Create, process, and manage Sales Orders, Proforma Invoices, and Commercial Invoices accurately
  • Send invoices and other documentation to relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless order execution
  • Manage inventory across multiple warehouses and containers for quick order turnaround
  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts alongside all employees
  • Proactively address inventory shortages and collaborate with purchasing teams
  • Track product renewals, discontinuations, and ensure compliance with regulatory updates

Marketing, Promotions & Campaign Coordination

  • Plan, coordinate, and follow up on marketing activities across assigned brands and accounts
  • Work with buyers, brands, and internal teams to develop and execute promotions, campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal programs
  • Maintain marketing calendars and track key deadlines, deliverables, and promotional commitments
  • Follow up with buyers and brand partners to ensure marketing plans are confirmed and executed on schedule
  • Coordinate promotional materials, product information, samples, pricing, and other marketing assets
  • Monitor promotional performance and gather feedback from buyers and internal teams
  • Help identify opportunities for additional marketing support, promotions, and account-specific initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for partner brands, handling inquiries and maintaining pricing consistency
  • Collaborate with internal teams, buyers, and brands to create promotions, campaigns, and exclusive offers
  • Lead or participate in meetings with internal and external teams to ensure smooth communication
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions for seamless workflow
  • Coordinate across sales, marketing, purchasing, logistics, and operations to ensure commitments to buyers and brands are fulfilled

Logistics & Shipment Management

  • Monitor shipping and delivery activities, coordinating with carriers to meet deadlines
  • Resolve delivery issues, split shipments, and trucking delays to minimize disruption
  • Track and manage the shipment of product samples for new and renewed items
  • Maintain and organize shipping documentation, including pick tickets, Bills of Lading (BOL), and shipment confirmations
  • Communicate shipment updates and delays to buyers and relevant stakeholders as needed

Product Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate product recaps, including regulatory documents, SDS, COO, and HS codes
  • Identify product exclusions, forecast shipments, and close assortment gaps
  • Ensure MSRP consistency and address pricing discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain accurate account, product, pricing, promotional, and inventory information
  • Prepare sales and account reports as needed to support buyer meetings and business planning

Compliance & Regulatory Excellence

  • Monitor and manage compliance with regulations such as MoCRA and Prop 65
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory documentation
  • Track MAP violations and escalate issues when necessary
  • Ensure products and supporting documentation meet applicable retailer and regulatory requirements

Purchase Orders, Pricing & Inventory Accuracy

  • Oversee purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Resolve discrepancies including missing invoices or short deliveries
  • Communicate changes to Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ) and propose solutions for storage and fulfillment optimization
  • Review pricing and order details to ensure consistency between buyers, brands, and internal systems

Strategic Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with headquarters on pricing, product adjustments, marketing initiatives, and strategic projects
  • Align internal teams around brand, account, and company goals
  • Partner with logistics and purchasing teams to optimize fulfillment and ensure timely deliveries
  • Support new brand launches, account expansion, and other strategic initiatives

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in quarterly inventory counts with all employees
  • Complete other duties as assigned by your manager to support business operations and company growth

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of experience in sales operations, account coordination, sales support, marketing coordination, or related roles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, accounts, and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable communicating directly with buyers, retailers, vendors, and brand partners
  • Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and document management tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex workflows
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and consistently follow through

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working directly with retail buyers or retail accounts
  • Experience with order management, invoicing, or compliance processes
  • Experience coordinating marketing programs, promotions, or campaigns
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and retail compliance requirements
  • Familiarity with promotions, marketing campaigns, and seasonal program coordination
  • Experience in beauty, skincare, or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
  • Strong understanding of retail sales cycles and account management
  • Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus
