About The Role

Join Our Team as a Group Ancillaries Coaching Manager – Drive International Revenue Growth

Are you passionate about maximizing commercial performance, leading revenue growth and optimizing customer value across diverse markets? We are looking for a talented Group Ancillaries Coaching Manager to join our HQ Group Operations team within the broader Operations function. In this international role, you will be responsible for driving ancillary revenue and counter sales performance across multiple countries, brands and branch networks, partnering with country teams to ensure consistent execution of our Group strategy and deliver exceptional customer service in every market.

Main Responsibilities and results

  1. On-Site "Train the Trainer" & Field Coaching
  • Conduct frequent, hands-on field visits (minimum 3 per week) to major airports and smaller corporate countries
  • Mentor and observe local leadership teams as they coach their counter sales team, providing immediate, actionable feedback to ensure the consistent application of the EMG standard sales and service processes
  • Deliver on-site "Train the Trainer" sessions for Revenue & Performance Coaches, Station Managers and Supervisors, equipping them with advanced sales coaching methodologies
  • Run live role-play sessions and shadow counter agents during operations to identify specific skill gaps and demonstrate effective sales techniques in real-time
  1. Performance Optimization & Standards Compliance
  • Assist the Head of Ancillaries and Commercial Network in achieving group-wide sales targets by directly intervening in high potential or underperforming locations
  • Monitor and enforce strict compliance with Group standards, product presentation guidelines and customer Service based Sales protocols across all visited stations
  • Train and mentor local teams in analysing their KPIs (ARPD, Walk-in rates, Upgrade conversion, etc..) using the Station Sales Tools to identify immediate revenue opportunities
  • Ensure that all local initiatives align with the broader Group strategy for Cars and Vans & Trucks (V&T) across all brands

Education & Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent
  • English language should be fluent both in the spoken and written form, active knowledge of other European languages is a strong advantage
  • Driving license is mandatory

Skills/experiences

  1. Sales Coaching and Field Leadership
  • Proven expertise in counter sales processes, specifically within the rent-a-car or travel/hospitality industry
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful training and develop staff through personal coaching and "Train the Trainer"
  • Ability to encourage people to contribute to team effort and to integrate individuals with different skills and personalities into an effective team, including regular feedback and recognition
  • A positive, high-energy management style capable of motivating teams and gaining commitment through leading by example
  1. Commercial Awareness & Analytics
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate reporting data into targeted, on-site action plans
  • Deep knowledge of a wide range of sales techniques and objection handling
  • Ability to accurately evaluate customer needs and train others to do the same
  1. Personal Effectiveness
  • High level of drive, self-motivation, and resilience to accomplish objectives in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel extensively across different countries (minimum 60% of the time spent in the field)
