About The Role

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, founding-stage role embedded directly with a small leadership team at an early-stage healthtech startup in Berlin. You'll bridge operations, automation, and technical tooling to help move ideas into production quickly — reducing manual work and building repeatable, measurable systems that improve member outcomes in a regulated health context. The engagement is 3–6 months with the potential to convert to a full-time position based on mutual fit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work directly with founders to ship ideas fast in a low-bureaucracy environment.
  • Automate and eliminate manual ops workflows using AI, code, and clean process design.
  • Own customer onboarding and technical setup to move members through the funnel.
  • Run field operations, including acquiring blood testing locations and coordinating sample logistics.
  • Recruit, onboard, and schedule mobile field staff (e.g., nurses).
  • Manage customer support and concierge workflows, including member requests and action plans.
  • Oversee lab logistics and handle escalations such as driver no-shows and lab changes.
  • Build internal tools and automations using AI agents, workflow platforms, and LLM APIs.
  • Track operational KPIs with SQL (cycle times, error rates, stockouts) and structure pipelines to surface patterns to the team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong ownership mindset and bias to action — hands-on, structured, and process-driven.
  • Proven ability to turn manual processes into automated, measurable, repeatable systems.
  • Comfortable with basic SQL, APIs, and building tools with platforms like Retool, n8n, Lovable, or Zapier.
  • AI-native working style — daily use of LLM tools (e.g., Claude, GPT, Cursor) with an automations-first mindset.
  • Experience recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling field staff and managing logistics.
  • Studying or holding a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Evidence of side projects, prototypes, or code (e.g., a GitHub portfolio).
  • Fluent in both German and English — this is a firm requirement.
  • Experience or genuine interest in healthtech or regulated environments is a plus.
