About The Role
Scope of Work
- Provide timely, practical, and well-reasoned compliance review and advice to PSI staff on donor rules, interpretation, and framing, primarily through a ticket-based help desk function.
- Strengthen the capacity and confidence of staff across the globe to independently complete compliance reviews, through a discrete and time-bound training and support series.
- Support revision and maintenance of PSI's compliance tools (including for subaward management), as requested.
- Support finalization of USG Terminated awards and other USG-related compliance scopes of work, as requested.
Deliverables and Frequency
- Monthly progress report of help-desk tickets and summary of observations; Monthly
- Completed Capacity Strengthening Training Plan; Within first three months
- Completed Capacity Strengthening  Activities; As completed, per plan
- Monthly progress reports of any tool revisions, USG-related scopes of work, or other compliance requests.; Monthly
Coordination with PSI Compliance Staff
- Biweekly check-ins are expected throughout the engagement period.
- Consultant shall set their own working hours, with most tasks to be completed asynchronously. However, consultant is expected to coordinate with team members to find joint times for meetings, updates, and coordination.
- Demonstrated experience with donor compliance requirements relevant to PSI's funding base (e.g., USG, Foundations, and Multilateral institutions).
- Experience designing or delivering compliance training or capacity-strengthening support, ideally in global settings.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
- Experience with subaward or subgrant management tools and processes.
Level of Effort and Duration
- Level of effort: part-time, estimated 15–20 hours per week, across 48 weeks.
- Engagement period: 11 months
