About The Role

Roster:  2/1 - Day shift only

Type: Fulltime Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator to join our operations team on a 2:1 FIFO dayshift roster. In this role, you will safely and efficiently operate a Komatsu HM460 articulated dump truck, or similar equipment, to move and rehandle material throughout the ROM and Loadout areas. You will contribute to maintaining consistent production, supporting operational targets, and ensuring all activities are completed in line with site safety and operational requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Operate Komatsu HM460 or similar articulated dump trucks safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures.
  • Move pre and post crushed material to designated stockpiles as per the rehandle / loadout instruction ensuring stockpile segregation  
  • Conduct pre‑start checks, monitor machine performance, and report defects promptly.
  • Keep machine cabs clean and tidy
  • Follow all site safety policies and procedures, maintain situational awareness, and operate equipment within safe limits.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, loader operators, road train operators, ROM operators, and any other personnel or equipment in the work area
  • Carry out other tasks such as site signage and delineation maintenance as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Current Western Australian HR or C Class Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
  • Previous experience operating Komatsu HM460 articulated dump trucks or similar equipment in a mining or bulk materials environment.
  • A strong commitment to safe work practices, hazard identification, and risk management.
  • The ability to work safely and efficiently in an active open pit mining operation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective two-way radio communication.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a production-focused team.
  • A reliable work ethic with the ability to follow site procedures and maintain high operational standards.
