Accounting Clerk

CCIA, a DC-based trade association, seeks a professional to join our Beaufort, SC based finance team as an Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive spirit, excellent attention to detail, exemplary customer service skills, and a professional demeanor. This professional will support CCIA’s Controller to ensure the proper functioning of CCIA’s accounting department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Accounts Payable maintaining timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices;
• Accounts Receivable;
• Maintain the schedule of membership to ensure timely invoicing of membership renewals;
• Track job costing;
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workplace Suite (Docs, Sheets) and QuickBooks.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a professional atmosphere
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• A self-starting personality, strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently
• High school diploma

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred

Compensation and benefits
