About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Planning Specialist (Refrigerants) to lead inventory planning, forecasting, and cylinder asset optimization across our global network. This role is responsible for ensuring product availability, maximizing asset utilization , and supporting business growth through effective inventory and supply chain planning.
What You Will Be Doing
Inventory Planning & Asset Management
- Lead inventory planning and cylinder asset management activities across assigned regions to ensure optimal stock availability and service levels.
- Develop and execute inventory strategies that balance customer demand, asset utilization , operational efficiency, and working capital objectives .
- Monitor inventory levels, replenishment requirements, consumption trends, and forecast accuracy to proactively mitigate shortages and excess inventory.
- Drive global inventory optimization through stock rebalancing, cylinder reshuffling, replenishment planning, and strategic positioning of cylinder assets.
- Analyze cylinder utilization trends and recommend site allocation strategies to maximize asset productivity and customer service performance.
- Support monthly and annual cylinder investment planning by preparing business cases, utilization analysis, and demand forecasts.
Demand Planning & Business Analysis
- Partner with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Procurement teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans.
- Support special projects including drydocks, cruise repositioning, fleet expansions, and newbuild activities through proactive inventory planning.
- Analyze inventory KPIs, utilization rates, service levels, stock variances, slow-moving inventory, and forecast performance.
- Provide business insights and recommendations to improve inventory efficiency, reduce costs , and strengthen supply chain resilience.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
What You Bring
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, logistics or asset management.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and inventory optimization skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Experience in supplier management, purchasing , and business analysis.
- Knowledge of global logistics , customs, and import/export processes.
