About The Role

Westview International Language School is seeking a dedicated and experienced American Diploma English Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction aligned with the American Diploma curriculum to support students’ academic achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and effective English language lessons following the American Diploma standards.
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet curriculum objectives and cater to various learning styles.
Assess and evaluate student performance regularly through tests, assignments, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student participation and academic excellence.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
Participate in professional development activities to stay current with subject knowledge and teaching methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
Relevant teaching certification and experience in delivering the American Diploma curriculum.
Strong command of English language and literature with the ability to inspire and engage students.
Experience teaching high school students preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
Knowledge of current educational best practices and innovative teaching strategies.
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and teamwork.
