Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service while answering questions about baked goods and menu items
• Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Upsell bakery items by recommending popular products and promoting specials to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning counters, utensils, and food handling areas in compliance with food safety regulations
• Restock shelves, display cases, and storage areas to ensure product availability throughout shifts
• Assist with marketing strategy and paid promotions

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or retail environments is preferred, especially within quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast and third-party delivery apps
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to upsell products confidently
• Must be able to work at least one scheduled full weekday shift (i.e., ~10:30am to 7:30pm) with opportunities for additional weekly shifts
• Must be able to transport up to 50 lbs of ingredients and packaging from storage to food production areas
• Food Protection License or willingness to obtain preferred
