Join our Support team in Mexico City as a Network Support Engineer and become a vital player. You'll troubleshoot cases across our entire product line—from wireless access points and security appliances to switches and Systems Manager—gaining hands-on experience just like our full-time engineers. This full-time role offers rapid learning, building your networking expertise , problem-solving skills, and customer support mastery. We're seeking hard-working, passionate, and proactive individuals eager to chip in and grow with us.
Your Impact
As a Network Support Engineer, you'll make a tangible difference from day one. You'll master networking fundamentals by working directly with Meraki devices in hands-on labs and courses, contributing to product excellence via lab testing and our Knowledge Base. You'll empower users by resolving technical issues for partners and customers, collaborating with our team on sophisticated challenges involving Meraki products, and sharpening your diagnostic skills with tools like Wireshark. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to grow your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities while contributing to a team that values innovation and customer success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Meet one of the following (completed within the past 3 years or expected to be completed within the next 12 months ):
- A Bachelor's degree with 0 years of work experience ; or
- An educational or workforce development program (e.g., Associate’s, Apprenticeship, Boot camp, or Certification) with 1 year of work experience ; or High school diploma (or equivalent) with 2 years of work experience.
- Qualifying education and work experience should be in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Systems Administration or a related field.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal) with strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated passion for technology and continuous learning through online courses, certifications, or personal projects and eager to develop a career in networking.
- Residing in Mexico City or its Metropolitan Area with legal authorization to work in Mexico (no visa sponsorship required) and able to commute to the office.
Preferred qualifications
- Possessing networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CWNA) is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience supporting or testing network technologies such as LANs, VLANs, WLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, or DHCP servers.
- Familiarity with key networking protocols, including TCP, STP, ARP, Ethernet, or OSPF.
- Experience in a helpdesk, technical call center, desktop support, or other networking-related roles is beneficial, though not mandatory.
