About The Role
Primary Duties
- Support the culture of Abbott Construction by providing a high level of customer service inside and outside the company in alignment with Abbott’s core values and mission statement.
- Be available to be the first line of communication and contact between our customers and employees.
- Warmly greet everyone that enters the building, determine the nature and purpose of their visit and direct or escort them to specific destinations.
- Responsible for opening & distributing mail, shipping, and other related services in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain office supply inventory in accordance with company policies and budgetary restrictions.
- Answer phones promptly, professionally, and in alignment with the Abbott core value of providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage calendars for various meeting rooms.
- Provide assistance to Senior Level Management, Project Administrators, and other staff as needed.
- Responsible for keeping the common areas of the office organized, stocked with supplies and free of clutter.
- Provide set-up and break-down of meeting rooms as needed.
- Responsible for the upkeep of the kitchens, ensure beverages are available and supplies are kept stocked.
- Perform miscellaneous errands as requested by Project Staff and as approved by the Senior Project Administrator.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Previous office administration experience
- Honest, goal-driven and customer-focused
- Highly organized and efficient
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Good computer skills, detailed and accurate
The full hourly range for this position is $30.00 to $34.00. This position is eligible for a target bonus.

Note : Sick leave accrues at one (1) hour for every 30 hours worked. Accrual for sick leave is capped at 240 hours. At the end of each calendar year, you will be allowed to carry over accrued and unused sick leave up to 240 hours. You will not begin accruing sick leave until you drop below the accrual cap.
