About The Role

Reporting to the General Accounting Supervisor , with whom they work closely, the incumbent actively participates in the monthly analysis of general ledger accounts.

What you’re responsible for

Perform bank reconciliations;
Prepare journal entries;
Process billing;
Process accounts payable;
Complete petty cash and general ledger reconciliations;
Maintain regular communication with branch managers;
Provide excellent customer service;
Work closely with all members of the department;
Perform any other related duties.

To Join Our Team

College diploma or vocational diploma (DEC or DEP) in accounting;
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar position; experience in the retail industry is considered an asset;
Good general understanding of computer systems and accounting software;
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles;
Ability to manage a high volume of work;
Ability to quickly adapt to different situations;
Ability to work simultaneously with multiple branches;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Strong communication skills;
Bilingualism in English and French is required.
