We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify new business opportunities, strengthen referral partnerships, generate qualified leads, and support the firm's continued growth through strategic outreach and relationship management.

As our Business Development Representative , you will serve as a key contributor to the firm's client acquisition and partnership strategy.
You'll collaborate closely with Business Development leadership, Marketing, Operations, and Field Representatives to identify new opportunities, develop referral relationships, qualify prospective clients, and strengthen partnerships that support long-term business growth.
Your work will directly influence lead generation, referral network expansion, client acquisition, partner engagement, and the firm's continued success.

What You'll Do
Business Development & Prospecting
- Execute targeted outreach strategies to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Research prospective clients, referral partners, and underserved geographic markets to expand the firm's network.
- Recruit and onboard referral partners, including body shops, chiropractic clinics, towing companies, and other strategic service providers.
- Present value-driven solutions that strengthen referral relationships and support business growth.
Lead Generation & Opportunity Management
- Manage and qualify inbound leads to maximize conversion opportunities.
- Follow up with prospective clients who have expressed interest but have not retained the firm's services.
- Re-engage declined or inactive leads by identifying alternative solutions and referral opportunities.
- Assign qualified opportunities appropriately based on business potential and client needs.
Referral Network & Partner Management
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with referral partners and key accounts.
- Coordinate outbound referrals for vehicle repairs, towing services, medical treatment, and other client support services.
- Maintain a structured partner engagement cycle through regular outreach, relationship-building, and ongoing support.
- Track referral activity and ensure partners receive consistent communication and exceptional service.
Client & Partner Engagement
- Build trust through professional communication and responsive client service.
- Customize solutions that address client and partner needs while improving satisfaction and retention.
- Support partner appreciation initiatives and engagement programs that strengthen long-term relationships.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for assigned partners and referral sources.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate meetings between prospective clients and Business Development leadership.
- Partner with Marketing, Training, Operations, and Field Representatives to execute growth initiatives.
- Support onboarding efforts for new referral partners and collaborate on market expansion strategies.
- Contribute ideas that improve outreach effectiveness and partnership development.
Reporting & Business Performance
- Maintain accurate documentation of all outreach activities, referrals, and partner communications within Filevine or designated CRM platforms.
- Monitor outreach, referral, and engagement metrics to evaluate business development performance.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for Business Development leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve business development processes, partner engagement, and referral growth.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, client success, or relationship management.
- Strong business development, prospecting, and customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience managing CRM platforms and maintaining accurate client records.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple opportunities while working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within legal services, personal injury, healthcare, insurance, or other service-based industries.
- Experience developing referral networks or strategic business partnerships.
- Familiarity with Filevine or similar CRM and case management platforms.
- Experience analyzing sales, outreach, or referral performance metrics.
- Professional certifications in Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, or related disciplines.
