Project Context Our team is currently setting up an Amazon Collaborative Commerce (ACC) data environment, extracting data through AWS APIs and storing it in Amazon S3, with plans to develop a dedicated AWS-based data lake. This data then will be loaded, processed and maintained in snowflake database. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL and ETL/ELT. Build and own Data Modelling as per Snowflake LSA, integration and ingestion from different sources into Snowflake, delivering clean, source-aligned datasets and data products that can be consumed by end users. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data modelling as per LSA and warehouse solutions.
- Develop scalable ELT/ETL pipelines to load data from AWS S3 Bucket, Rest API’s and other sources into Snowflake (using Snowflake best practices.)
- Create and manage Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, stages, tasks, streams, and stored procedures.
- Implement data quality frameworks, governance, lineage, and metadata management across multiple environments.
- Optimize Snowflake performance, query tuning, clustering, and warehouse sizing.
- Implement data sharing, security, masking policies, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Work on Structured data, semi-structured data handling using JSON and manual files.
- Implement Row Level Security setup on snowflake.
- Migrate existing data from Azure SQL server to Snowflake.
Mandatory/Required
- Data Modelling – Snowflake LSA
- Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake DBT and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture.
- Professional experience in data engineering and analytics engineering.
- Experience working with large enterprise datasets and analytics-driven applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Good to have
- Experience with AWS services, DBT, Python.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
