About The Team
You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operation and management of the transportation and distribution network in the Middle East region, ensuring the efficient and stable operation of sea, air, land transportation, and last-mile delivery.
- Coordinate international trunk transportation resources, liaise with sea and air carriers and local transportation service providers, and monitor the entire operational chain of goods from origin, customs clearance, transshipment, and last-mile delivery.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for transportation and distribution operations, including on-time delivery rate, successful delivery rate, transportation costs, anomaly rate, and customer satisfaction, and continuously drive operational quality improvement.
- Establish and optimize transportation and distribution operation processes to improve the operational efficiency of cross-border logistics and local distribution networks and reduce operating costs.
- Responsible for managing transportation and distribution anomalies, promptly coordinating with warehousing, transportation companies, customs clearance teams, and customer service teams to resolve issues and ensure stable business operations.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data, identify business pain points and improvement opportunities, and develop and promote the implementation of operational optimization projects. 7. Participate in transportation resource planning and supplier management, including carrier performance evaluation, capacity management, pricing management, and service quality supervision.
- Collaborate with headquarters and regional teams to advance the construction of the logistics network in the Middle East, supporting the implementation and operation of new routes, new countries, and new business scenarios.
- Be familiar with and comply with local logistics, transportation, and customs regulations to ensure compliant business operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, with a major in logistics management, supply chain management, international trade, transportation, or related fields preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in the logistics industry, with experience in cross-border logistics, international freight forwarding, transportation operations, or distribution operations.
- Familiar with sea and air freight operation procedures, and understand international freight forwarding, customs clearance, transshipment, and last-mile delivery business models.
- Prior experience in the logistics industry in the Middle East is preferred, with familiarity with the logistics market environment and transportation network resources of countries such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
- Familiar with key performance indicator (KPI) management in logistics operations, and possess strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Possess supplier management experience and be able to effectively coordinate resources from carriers, logistics service providers, and internal cross-departmental collaboration.
- Possess strong communication, coordination, project management, and stress management skills, and be able to adapt to a rapidly evolving business environment.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI; experience with logistics systems (TMS/WMS/OMS, etc.) is preferred.
