About The Role
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join the Data, Power and Control team in Anaheim, CA . The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting employees and leaders in the execution of HR strategies, programs, and processes that support business objectives and enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees to provide guidance on all HR policies, programs, and practices
- Support leaders with employee onboarding, employee relations, including coaching, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Administer and support leave of absence programs, benefits, HRIS updates, and employee data management
- Assist with performance management, employee development, and training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Support health and safety, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and promote a positive workplace culture
- Act as a liaison between the site and Corporate HR to ensure alignment on programs and initiatives
- Participate in HR projects and drive continuous improvement of HR processes and programs
- Coordinate recruitment of hourly associates and serve as a liaison with staffing agencies
- Provide new hire orientation and support new employee assimilation
- Maintain visibility on the manufacturing floor to build and maintain trust across shifts
- Other duties as assigned
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field is required
Experience : 3+ years of HR experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and the ability to prioritize independently
- Ability to evaluate situations, identify options and implement effective solutions quickly and efficiently
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally
- Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus, extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information
- Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Must be able to balance the needs of people within the framework of the company’s business needs
- Must demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
