About The Role

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an Associate Manager – SAP Basis to spearhead SAP modernization efforts within our Delivery department. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Basis landscapes for S/4HANA migrations, both greenfield and brownfield, while leading a high‑performing technical team and ensuring seamless integration with broader enterprise solutions.

Design, implement, and support SAP Basis architecture for S/4HANA greenfield and brownfield migrations.
Lead a team of Basis consultants, providing technical guidance and performance reviews.
Oversee system landscape, including ECC, BW, PO, and cloud integrations.
Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance across SAP environments.
Drive automation using scripting, Ansible, or SAP Landscape Management.
Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, and security teams for end‑to‑end delivery.
Manage capacity planning, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis.
Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior staff.
Prepare and present status reports, risk assessments, and project documentation to stakeholders.
Stay current with SAP roadmap, SAP S/4HANA upgrades, and modernization best practices.
10+ years of hands‑on SAP Basis experience, including S/4HANA.
Proven experience in greenfield and brownfield SAP migrations.
Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and related database platforms.
Expertise in system administration, transport management, and security.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, SAP Landscape Management).
Ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; SAP certifications preferred.
Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, client‑focused delivery environment.
