About The Role

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Leverages the time and p rovides general and administrative support by coordinating many daily activities and functions of the department through a thorough understanding of work methods, priorities, procedures and staff.

Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm | Salary Range: $23.93-$25.78/ hour

Primary Tasks

  • Greet guests, answer incoming calls, take messages, and route as needed.
  • Manage calendar and office activities, s chedule appointments/meetings and coordinate arrangements for meetings, conferences, and travel.
  • Manage departmental requisitions, timekeeping data, and other daily business affairs.
  • Organize and expedite the flow of work through the department .
  • Prepare routine and non-routine special reports including gathering and summarizing sensitive and confidential data.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain highly confidential files and records.
  • Compose, type, and disseminate letters and correspondence.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience

  • Associate degree in business or a position-related field of study and five [5] years of progressive and comprehensive administrative support to a department-level manager, or seven [7] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and the Internet
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, interpersonal skills to influence individuals at all levels within and outside the organization
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
