Senior Service Engineer

【Key Responsibilities】

• Act as on-site service representative for lithography products at end-customer locations
• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and complex repairs on optical and mechatronic systems
• Diagnose mechanical, hardware, and software issues and implement effective, cost-conscious solutions in line with internal procedures
• Handle service requests via email, phone, or on-site and coordinate service activities with customers
• Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of new service strategies
• Document service activities, analyze results, and drive quality and process improvements
• Define training content, prepare documentation, and conduct technical training
• Serve as the technical interface between ASML, ZEISS and End-Customer
• Order, manage, and return spare parts and defective materials per defined processes

【Technical & Service Competencies】

• Execute work on complex equipment and moderately complex systems in cleanroom environment according to standard procedures
• Collaborate with an international support team to perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within defined solution spaces
• Use product and customer knowledge to communicate effectively between customer and organization

【Reporting & Operational Responsibilities】

• Apply cost-effective decision-making aligned with company policies
• Understand and implement service KPI's
• Maintain structured documentation to support traceability and continuous improvement

【Qualifications & Experience】

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Optics, Mechatronics, or related field or 5+ years relevant industry experience
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, preferably lithography
• Strong customer orientation and flexibility regarding service hours
• Willingness to travel internationally (~30%, Asia and worldwide)
• Ability to work independently with a strong hands-on mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
