About The Role

Key Accountabilities

Monitor operational KPIs Compliance (safety, quality, headcount, jobs per hour, performance rate (PR), operational availability (OA)).
Plan and execute defined strategies to achieve targets set in GL Board.
Ensure conditions for production are in place including labor, materials, supplies and equipment (line side inventory, staffing, absenteeism, etc.).
Conduct safety audits, 5S, safety walk, SOS cards, SOA cards, Std work , etc..
Execute and support the analysis of recordable accidents and confirm the implementation of corrective and preventive actions using problem solving methodology.
Execute and support the analysis of customer complaints and confirm the implementation of corrective and preventive actions using problem solving methodology.
Ensure compliance of defined tools and practices such as: Machine Care, Standard Work, Poka-Yoke management, JQM, etc.
Identify training needs and make plan to close gaps •Assign work to Team Leader and supervise their performance.
Train TL to conduct OJT, Job rotation & Plan Vs actual. Confirm skill matrix are getting updated.
Temporal coverage
Covers the role of another GL during absences.
Participate in the Operating Way meetings that applied to your position. Incidental Work
Control the budget of the cost center.
Manage staffing over time and absenteeism.
Understand, comprehend, and apply the Stop, Call & Wait, ANDON and/or the applicable escalation process.
Ensure compliance with product requirements. (built-in quality culture: don't generate, don't receive, don't send).
