WHO YOU ARE

You are a practical, detail-driven Finishes Site Supervisor with a strong trade background and hands-on experience delivering quality outcomes during the final and most critical stages of construction.

Strong understanding of finishes quality, sequencing and coordination, and their impact on program, safety and successful handover

3–10+ years’ experience delivering and supervising finishes on commercial fit-outs, refurbishments or high-rise projects

Proven ability to manage defects, inspections and punch lists through to practical completion

Experienced in coordinating multiple finishing trades across active work fronts while maintaining quality and program

Trade background in carpentry, painting, joinery or similar (preferred)

Solid understanding of architectural detailing, finishes specifications and quality standards

Organised and solutions-focused, with strong attention to detail

Clear and effective communicator across site teams and stakeholders

Confident using standard construction systems and software

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead delivery of finishes packages across active work fronts during the final stages of construction
• Work closely with the Site Manager and project team to maintain program, quality and safety outcomes
• Manage defects from identification through to rectification and close-out prior to practical completion
• Drive inspections, punch lists and handover processes to ensure timely project completion
• Ensure finishes comply with architectural drawings, specifications and client expectations
• Coordinate finishing trades and final-stage activities to meet handover milestones and protect program
• Supervise trades on site, resolving day-to-day workface issues and escalating where required
• Manage interfaces between services completion, finishes trades, testing and commissioning
• Ensure adequate labour, plant and materials are in place to achieve productivity targets
• Provide leadership to site crews, allocating daily tasks and ensuring safe execution of works
• Ensure accurate set-out in accordance with contract and shop drawings
• Implement safety and quality plans, ensuring compliance, inspections and effective close-out of works
