About The Role

About the Project

For one of our international projects, we are looking for 2 Python Backend Developers to join the team and contribute to the development and maintenance of AI-based applications.

The project focuses on intelligent document processing solutions, including AI-powered document classification and information extraction. The role involves working on backend services, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure in a modern Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services for AI-based applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Python.
  • Develop and integrate microservices.
  • Integrate AI services with other internal systems and data sources.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality.
  • Containerize applications using Docker or Podman.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deploy and maintain applications on OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and analyze logs.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, infrastructure engineers, and other development teams.
  • Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
  • Maintain technical documentation in Confluence.
  • Estimate development tasks and manage work using Jira.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Python .
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs .
  • Experience with Docker or Podman .
  • Good knowledge of Git .
  • Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins .
  • Good written and spoken English .
  • Experience working in Agile development environments .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical teams.
  • Language: English (German is a plus)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes .
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD .
  • Experience with FastAPI .
  • Experience building microservices .
  • Bash scripting.
  • Basic knowledge of Kafka .
  • Basic knowledge of Redis .
  • German language skills.
  • Previous experience with Atruvia projects.

Experience with any of the following technologies is considered an advantage

  • SonarQube
  • Jira
  • Confluence
