Summary of Job Duties
The Extra Help/Compliance intern will serve in an assistant capacity and aid our Associate AD for Compliance with several duties related to the operational managing of the compliance unit. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree;
- Administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy,
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor of countable athletically related activities (CARA), recruiting logs, travel logs, and other recruiting compliance, and roster management-related matters;
- Assist in developing educational materials for coaches, student-athletes, and other constituents on campus to ensure NCAA and A-10 rules and processes are communicated correctly.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong written communication skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs,
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to learn and observe more advanced compliance responsibilities and gain experience in written interpretations, waivers, and violations
