About The Role

The Head of Networking is accountable for the strategic direction, design, and reliable operation of the enterprise network infrastructure across the SCOR Group. This role leads the global networking strategy, governance, and day-to-day operations to ensure secure, high-performing, and resilient network services aligned with business priorities and regulatory requirements. This position oversees a global team of network professionals, including direct technicians, and serves as the Group’s senior authority on all networking matters. This role partners closely with technology and business stakeholders to deliver scalable connectivity solutions that support SCOR’s global operations.

  • Lead the strategic direction, architectural design, and lifecycle management of the global enterprise network infrastructure.
  • Oversee day-to-day network operations to ensure secure, resilient, and high-performance connectivity across all SCOR locations.
  • Manage and develop a global team of network engineers and technical specialists supporting campus, data center, and cloud-based networks.
  • Define and enforce networking standards, governance frameworks, and operational best practices across the Group.
  • Drive the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of core networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless.
  • Partner closely with technology, cybersecurity, cloud, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable connectivity solutions.
  • Ensure network architecture and operations comply with regulatory, security, and audit requirements.
  • Develop and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance for network service providers and equipment manufacturers.
  • Lead incident management and root-cause analysis for network-related outages and performance issues.
  • Develop multi-year network roadmaps, capacity plans, and modernization initiatives to support business growth and transformation.
  • Establish KPIs, SLAs, and reporting mechanisms to measure network performance and service reliability.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning for global network operations, tools, and infrastructure investments.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across network services.
  • Master’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Professional certifications as above.
  • 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing multi-regional security teams and programs.
  • Professional certifications: or equivalent.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and crisis management skills.

Pay Range for roles performed in Buenos Aires, Charlotte, and Paris: $200,000-$270,500 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long term incentives. In addition, we provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement saving plan, paid holidays and paid time off.
