Quality Analyst PD (Product Development)

About The Role
This position is responsible for supporting quality operations within the Product Development area, including ordering parts and engines for warranty purposes, generating and analyzing key reports to support various requirements, coordinating with strategic suppliers to resolve warranty issues, and supporting data analysis tools such as macros, Power Apps, and dashboards to streamline warranty analysis.
The ideal candidate combines attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities across multiple teams.
- Order warranty components and engines from dealerships using low-time-in-service and high-time-in-service systems (daily/weekly).
- Track requested warranty components and update Excel reports using data from the Quality AI platform.
- Attend problem-resolution meetings with different teams from various departments.
- Provide warranty information to different teams with the goal of eliminating quality issues for the end customer.
- Prepare reports and update quality metrics on a monthly basis.
- Handle special requests for report preparation and warranty data analysis.
- Participate in meetings with the product development team as well as critical suppliers on warranty-related topics.
- Prepare PowerPoint formats for high-time-in-service engine analysis.
- Support innovation projects through the use of AI.
- Provide support in creating new tools to streamline processes and tasks for the team, e.g., Power Apps and dashboards using: macros, various databases, Power BI, Python, Microsoft Power Automate.
- Interpret blueprints/drawings, with knowledge of the GD&T system.
- Develop 8Ds for complex product development or manufacturing problems.
- Support production floor testing for engineering changes.
- Lead work meetings for quality problem resolution.
- Intermediate-advanced English level (due to interaction with teams from different countries and cultures).
- Knowledge of internal combustion engine operation, as well as familiarity with its components.
- Proactivity to identify and support innovation projects.
- Ability to create presentations using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Database management and advanced information analysis.
- Time management skills for multiple daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
- Intermediate-advanced proficiency in: Excel (macros), Power Apps, dashboards, Power BI, Python.
- Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
- Knowledge of quality tools: 8D, Six Sigma Methodology, PDCA, GEMBA, etc.
- Effective collaboration in multicultural teams located in different global regions.
- Growth-oriented mindset, innovation, and constant evolution.
