Position Summary
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies. This role provides critical technology leadership for the Versana platform, supporting strategic digital initiatives, risk distribution capabilities, agent-lender integrations, and ongoing platform modernization efforts. The individual will serve as both the Application Risk Lead and Feature Lead, responsible for end-to-end ownership of application stability, resiliency, controls, regulatory compliance, and delivery of key Versana enhancements. Responsibilities include leading technology strategy, managing vendor and business partner engagement, driving production issue remediation, overseeing platform scalability initiatives, and delivering roadmap features such as amendment voting, agent feed enhancements, STP enablement, and integration capabilities. This role requires deep expertise in syndicated lending, LoanIQ, Versana architecture, APIs, data flows, and risk management practices. The position is critical to ensuring continued platform growth, operational resiliency, regulatory compliance, and successful execution of the Versana product roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
- Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
- Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
- Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
- Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
- Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
- Serve as the primary technology lead for the Versana platform, providing end-to-end ownership of application strategy, feature delivery, operational stability, and risk governance.
- Lead the execution of the Versana product roadmap, including strategic enhancements, integration capabilities, agent feed expansion, STP enablement, and platform modernization initiatives
- Partner with business stakeholders, operations teams, vendors, and product management to prioritize initiatives, define feature requirements, and deliver technology solutions that align with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary technology risk representative ensuring adherence to Enterprise Risk, Information Security, Architecture, and Regulatory standards.
- Own and manage the application risk profile, including identification, assessment, mitigation, tracking, and reporting of technology, operational, cybersecurity, resiliency, and third-party risks.
- Drive compliance with enterprise risk programs and mandates, including RISE, Trident, GIS, vulnerability management, software currency, disaster recovery, business continuity, and audit requirements.
- Lead remediation efforts for technology findings, control gaps, audit observations, and regulatory issues, ensuring timely resolution and sustainable controls are implemented.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering ,computer science ,or job related field required.
- 6–10 years of experience in technology delivery, software engineering, or Agile environments
- Experience leading feature-level or workstream delivery within Agile/SAFe frameworks
- Strong understanding of Agile processes, backlog refinement, and sprint execution
- Technical experience in Salesforce, Mule, or enterprise integration environments
- Proven ability to manage dependencies, risks, and multiple priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience working in onsite/offshore and matrixed delivery model
- Must have Architected, developed & implemented solutions using real time streaming technologies (Spark Streaming/Kafka)
- Experience working with Exadata & Oracle SQL Tuning
- Experience developing Streaming/Near Real time and Batch data integration solutions
- Hands on experience in UNIX Shell Scripting
- Working experience in scheduling jobs with Autosys
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Commercial Credit Technology / Underwriting platforms
- Exposure to production support and release management processes
- Knowledge of enterprise risk, compliance, and audit requirements

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$106,500.00 - $173,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
