About The Role
Job Description Summary
The US General Manager for Alzheimer owns the disease area strategy and execution across the US market of Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business segment. Through driving specialization and focus, enhancing customer experience, and colleague development; this role ensures one regional strategy for Alzheimer disease area, with the purpose of serving GEHC people, patients, and customers. This role proactively defines the Alzheimer commercial disease area strategy and works in conjunction with other disease area US commercial teams to deliver the strategy in the field. This role is a key member of the US Molecular Imaging (MI) leadership team, partnering with the MI General Managers, Global Alzheimer product teams and US Functional Leadership to drive customer satisfaction and business growth.
Job Description
- Define and lead commercial launch strategy for novel PET-imaging agents in Alzheimer disease area for the US region; responsible for growing market share, driving volume growth and margin accretion. Lead cross-functional teams to align marketing, sales, applications, project management, and operational efforts, ensuring cohesive execution of business plans.
- Implement a nuclear medicine account management model heavily focused on:
- establishing relationships both with nuclear medicine departments of the imaging centers and referral physicians – building advocacy and becoming vendor of choice.
- Educating both providers on the value of PET imaging and Vizamyl for Alzheimer’s patients
- Aligning our local GTM strategy with contract manufacturing organizations partners (CMOs)
- creating strong internal collaboration between various stakeholders.
- Develop and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in Alzheimer disease area to stay informed about the latest medical advancements, drive evidence-based strategic decisions, and build trust within the medical community.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of a product by continuously monitoring market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to drive product enhancements, optimize marketing and sales strategies, manage pricing and profitability, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver exceptional customer support.
- In partnership with Strategic Director of Partnerships, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with radio pharmacies to ensure product availability and optimize market presence. Implement initiatives to drive mutual growth, such as joint marketing campaigns and co-promotion agreements, which will enhance product visibility and increase sales.
- Build and strengthen relationships with referral physicians through targeted engagement strategies, educational programs, and regular communication. Implement and manage sales models that facilitate increased referrals and ensure physicians are well-informed about the benefits and applications of GE HealthCare diagnostics products in Alzheimer disease area.
- Collaborate with General Managers leading other disease areas within PDx organization, as well as outside of PDx organization to identify potential synergies, as well to ensure that the best practices for the organization are identified and adopted.
- Empower, inspire and grow high-performing commercial team by providing strategic direction and fostering a culture based on GE HealthCare cultural operating principles.
- Partner with global teams on upstream strategy such as label expansion and portfolio expansion projects
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with Alzheimer pharma companies to enable alignment of diagnostics and therapeutics GTM strategies.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BA/BS Degree
- 10+ years of successful sales/marketing/product leadership experience
- 3+ years of successful senior level sales management, product, and/or general management experience
- Healthcare/MedTech Industry experience
- Novel PET-imaging agents launch experience - understanding the value drivers and how they are all coming together (clinical data, supply chain, reimbursement, education & commercial execution)
- Product lifecycle management experience
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills: Ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with KOLs through clear, persuasive communication and active listening.
- Strong clinical orientation: ability to build knowledge of the disease area and scientific literacy to engage in meaningful discussions and make evidence-based decisions.
- Strong strategic and ethical leadership: Strategic thinking for long-term planning, credibility and industry expertise to gain respect, and adherence to high ethical standards and regulatory compliance.
- Strong collaboration skills and agility: Effective cross-functional collaboration, influencing skills to align internal and external stakeholders, and adaptability to respond to new information and changing circumstances.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and execute multiple priorities and approaches to meet objectives
- Strong P&l management capabilities including pricing and variable cost producticvity.
- Experience in building and deploying commercial sales teams and driving sales force effectiveness (E.g. funnel management, commercial rigor, dynamic targeting, …etc)
- Sense of urgency and ability to drive fast paced projects.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $192,000.00-$288,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
