About The Role
The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for cash related entries and bank reconciliation. The position is responsible for categorization and posting cash receipts into the general ledger to meet close deadline and for no audit adjustment on reconciliation of disbursement, depository and master sweep accounts done on a monthly basis. The position prepares, examines, and/or analyzes accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. The position works closely with Treasury, Revenue Cycle, and Accounting teams to ensure all cash journal entries are posted timely. The Senior Treasury Analyst looks for ways to improve procedures for better more effective and efficient processing of cash transactions.
- Leads and reviews treasury related journal entries, including cash activity, debt transactions, and investment activity, ensuring accuracy and appropriate controls.
- Oversees bank reconciliations and treasury related balance sheet account reconciliations, including review and resolution of reconciling items.
- Leads daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, forecasting, variance analysis, and liquidity monitoring.
- Oversees outstanding payment reporting and partners with Accounts Payable to advance initiatives that reduce paper check usage and improve payment efficiency.
- Leads fraud prevention controls, including oversight of bank entitlements, user access, authorization structures, and related reporting.
- Oversees debt related administration, including tracking balances, interest activity, covenant support, and lender reporting requirements.
- Evaluates banking services and fees, identifies cost saving or efficiency opportunities, and supports bank relationship management.
- Serves as a primary Treasury contact for internal and external audit requests, including preparation, review, and explanation of treasury related schedules and analyses.
- Leads or supports Treasury system and banking platform initiatives, including testing, validation, and process improvements during system implementations or operational changes.
Minimum Education
- Associates Degree Accounting, Business, Finance Required or
- Two years of related experience in lieu of associate's degree. Required
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Business, Finance Preferred
Minimum Work Experience
- 3 years Experience in accounting, financial services, or revenue cycle operations Required
