Job Description Summary
As a HR leader for GE HealthCare, you will be the primary HR contact for managers and the leadership team, providing strategic and operational HR support. You will lead the execution of HR initiatives, ensure compliance with company policies, and foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment. This role is critical in driving HR functional excellence and supporting business growth in Australia and New Zealand.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from managers and the leadership team, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement business-specific HR strategies.
- Provide coaching and support on employee relations, performance management, talent development, and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, including employment contracts, working hours, benefits, and termination procedures.
- Lead HR processes such as compensation planning, performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession planning.
- Manage workplace investigations and employee grievances with integrity and confidentiality.
- Support organizational changes, including restructuring, workforce planning, and change management initiatives.
- Conduct HR training sessions and onboarding programs to enhance employee experience and leadership capability.
- Collaborate with payroll, benefits, and legal teams to ensure accurate and compliant HR operations.
- Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion aligned with GE Healthcare’s values.
- Prepare to support regional HR initiatives and projects as part of a broader SBU in the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational or healthcare environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex employee relations issues and drive resolution.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
Preferred Characteristics
- Experience working in a matrixed, multicultural organization.
- Strong growth mindset and proactive approach
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP).
- Demonstrated ability to lead HR initiatives and influence stakeholders.
