About The Role

Help GN’s technical community realise the value of modern AI. In this role, you will help engineers and technical teams adopt AI tools and agentic workflows by turning emerging technology into accessible, practical learning experiences.

In the role of AI Engineering Enablement Specialist in the Digital Incubation & AI team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will promote AI adoption across GN’s software, R&D, and technical communities by creating learning initiatives, understanding developer needs, and helping teams access relevant AI tools.

The Team you will be part of

You will join the Digital Incubation & AI team, a dedicated group advancing GN’s enterprise AI and agentic delivery capabilities. While colleagues in the team build scalable AI platforms and agents, your role will help ensure that GN’s technical workforce is equipped to use these technologies effectively.

Our culture is built on curiosity, mutual support, and close collaboration. We value continuous learning, open knowledge-sharing, quality outcomes, and an environment where every perspective is heard and ideas are brought to life together.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will

  • Design and facilitate training sessions, practical workshops, and hackathons that help engineers and developers use AI tools, coding assistants, and agentic workflows
  • Connect engineering teams with the central AI team by gathering feedback, mapping workflows, and identifying developer friction points
  • Help shape GN’s AI tooling portfolio by assessing technical needs, evaluating third-party developer AI solutions, and defining requirements for in-house capabilities
  • Build an active internal community of practice through playbooks, practical guides, cheat sheets, and the sharing of developer outcomes
  • Translate feedback and technical needs into actionable insights that improve AI adoption across GN

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you

  • Bring an educational background in technology management, computer science, technical communication, learning and development, engineering, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience
  • Communicate clearly and enjoy coaching others, hosting interactive sessions, and making technical concepts approachable
  • Have technical literacy and curiosity, including an understanding of software-development workflows such as IDEs, Git, and CI/CD
  • Build trust across diverse groups, listen actively to user needs, and turn feedback into practical improvements
  • May have experience with AI-assisted developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or LLM APIs; technical training or developer-relations programmes; or internal product discovery

Even if you don’t match all the above-mentioned skills, we welcome your application if you think you have transferable skills. We highly value a mindset and motivation that align with our core values, to not only ensure growth for you, but for your team and the wider GN organization as well.
