About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Every product has users. Not every product has people who show up, night after night, to answer a stranger's question in a Slack channel, speak at a meetup they organized themselves, or tell a room full of peers why they believe in what we're building. Salesforce has thousands of them — and the Salesforce MVP Program is how we recognize, connect, and champion them.

We're looking for a Community Manager to serve as Program Lead for the Salesforce MVP Program: the person who makes sure this community doesn't just exist, but thrives. You'll sit at the intersection of community, marketing, and customer experience — running the day-to-day heartbeat of the program while also shaping where it goes next. This is a role for someone who's grown an ambassador, customer, or advocacy community before, who finds real energy in building relationships, and who wants the kind of ownership where your fingerprints are on everything from a single MVP's renewal to the strategy behind the whole program.

What You'll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations for the MVP Program in partnership with community operations — engagement, moderation, and response management, done with quality and at scale
  • Own the execution of the annual MVP nomination and renewal selection cycle, start to finish
  • Set and continuously sharpen the guardrails: community guidelines, escalation frameworks, and tone-of-voice standards, and be a key decision-maker when situations get high-visibility or sensitive
  • Spark, join, and amplify conversation across LinkedIn, Slack, and community forums, showing up as an active voice in the community, not just its steward
  • Partner with Product to host listening sessions with MVPs, turning community insight into a real feedback loop that shapes the roadmap
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Events teams to surface MVP insight and extend the community's impact across the business
  • Represent Salesforce at flagship events and conferences, building relationships in person and converting those moments into lasting engagement
  • Create content, communications, and campaigns that get people participating and celebrate the wins MVPs are already having
  • Track community health and program performance, and understand how the data and member feedback shape business impact
  • Build the processes, documentation, and systems that let this program scale without losing what makes it feel personal
  • Evangelize the MVP Program internally, so the rest of Salesforce understands the value these advocates bring — and advocate for MVPs themselves, always
  • Keep a pulse on where community marketing, community architecture, and AI are heading, and bring those ideas back into the program
  • Contribute to planning and reporting cycles, helping decide where the program invests next

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B community, with a track record of growing ambassador, customer, or advocacy communities
  • A creative program thinker who brings fresh ideas for making community feel like a destination, not an afterthought
  • A natural storyteller and connector, communicating clearly and compellingly whether you're writing for members, briefing your team, or presenting to executives
  • Experience running virtual and in-person community events across formats — webinars, meetups, flagship events — and comfortable owning promotion and logistics end-to-end
  • A data-driven mindset: you know how to set KPIs, measure what's working, and let insight steer your strategy
  • A self-starter with strong relationship instincts — you take initiative, operate with real autonomy, and can move a program forward even when the path isn't fully defined; peers and senior leaders alike trust you in the room
  • Comfortable identifying what's blocking progress and working with stakeholders to clear it
  • Experience managing communities in Slack is a big plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
  • Ideally, experience applying AI and community tools to marketing or community workflows
  • Willing to travel for events and team offsites
