About The Role

  • Support the efficient operation of the Cyclops Tool Recycling Program by inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and preparing tools for customer use.
  • Ensure tools are maintained according to NOV quality and safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory, logistics, and coordination of tool deliveries and pickups to support customer field operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and system records throughout the repair and recycling process.
  • Contribute to a safe, organized, and productive work environment while delivering excellent customer support.
  • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of Cyclops Setting Tools with customer field representatives.
  • Clean, inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test tools by following established NOV work instructions and quality standards.
  • Accurately document repairs, inspections, and tool status using NOV software systems.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment needed to support daily operations.
  • Prepare tools for shipment and assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Perform routine housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Assist with deliveries and customer support activities as needed.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment in accordance with company safety procedures.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business and customer needs.

Required Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to safely use basic hand tools.
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, automotive, construction, maintenance, or other hands-on work environments is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn company software systems.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physically demanding work throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends or holidays when business needs require.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience repairing or maintaining mechanical equipment.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or oilfield service environments.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Experience using inventory or ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with oilfield tools or downhole equipment is a plus but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed primarily in a shop and warehouse environment with occasional exposure to customer field operations.
  • Position requires frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, standing, and manual handling of tools and equipment.
  • May be exposed to oils, lubricants, hydrocarbons, cleaning solutions, and other industrial materials while following appropriate safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment.
