Performance and Resiliency Engineering Lead, Merchant Services (Senior Vice President or Executive Director)

Merchant Services seeks an SVP/ED Performance & Resiliency Engineer to improve latency, throughput/TPS, capacity, and peak readiness for high-volume platforms. You’ll partner with application development and infrastructure/platform teams, strengthen observability and incident/RCA practices, and drive canary/progressive delivery across AWS and containerized workloads (EKS primary; ECS/other compute as used). Akamai is strongly preferred; KEDA/Karpenter is a large plus. This role requires strong technical leadership, mentorship, and teamwork.
