Store Supervisor

Job Purpose

• Managing staff within the store, coordinating the shipping of goods, setting up displays, and assisting customers and staff during business hours.

Store Supervisor Activities

• Manage retail staff, including cashiers and people working on the floor.

• ₋ Ensure pricing is correct.
• ₋ Work on store displays.
• ₋ Coach, counsel, train, and discipline employees.
• ₋ Evaluate on-the-job performance.
• ₋ Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed.
• ₋ Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock.
• ₋ Keep up with fluctuating supply and demand.
• ₋ Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards.
• ₋ Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
• ₋ Collect local competitors’ prices.
• ₋ Maintain store's cleanliness and health and safety measures.
• ₋ Organize and distribute staff schedules.
• ₋ Help retail sales staff achieve sales targets.
• ₋ Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma

Work Experience: Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in the same or related field
