About The Role

  • Multi-disciplinary data professional who enjoys solving Healthcare analytics problems.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. Healthcare value chain (Payer and/or Provider).
  • Experience working with healthcare data including claims, eligibility, risk adjustment, utilization, and quality metrics.
  • Ability to derive meaningful and actionable insights from structured and semi-structured healthcare datasets.
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to connect data findings to business outcomes.
  • Experience working in Agile (SCRUM) environments and iterative delivery cycles.
  • Ability to work on multiple reporting initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills – capable of presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience optimizing Power BI datasets and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
  • Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports to support operational and strategic decision-making and data transformations with Python.
  • Translate business requirements into data models, KPIs, and visualizations that drive actionable insights.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Develop scalable data models and datasets optimized for reporting and analytics consumption.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security compliance in reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions aligned to business objectives.
  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance existing dashboards to improve performance and usability.
  • Provide analytical support for operational reviews, client discussions, and executive reporting.
  • Support production issues related to data discrepancies, report failures, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Client Services, and Operations teams for data requirements and reporting needs.
  • Share knowledge and best practices around analytics, dashboard design, and data governance.
  • Proactively contribute to improving internal analytics frameworks and reusable reporting assets.
  • Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and executive-ready reporting materials.
  • Communicate with onshore stakeholders and clients regarding reporting requirements and analytics outputs.
  • Participate in client discussions to clarify data definitions, KPIs, and reporting expectations.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams for analytics delivery
  • 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting within enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SQL for complex querying, data transformation, performance tuning, and optimization.
  • Proficient in Python for data analysis, data manipulation, and automation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or related field required

Required Skills

  • Advanced SQL (CTEs, Window Functions, Query Optimization, Stored Procedures)
  • Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark)
  • Power BI
  • Data Warehousing Concepts & Dimensional Modeling
  • ETL/ELT pipeline understanding
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security best practices
  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets
  • Version control tools (Git preferred)
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred)

Skills Nice to Have

  • Experience or certifications in Azure Data / Databricks
  • Experience with Healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
  • Exposure to Risk Adjustment models (CMS-HCC)
  • Knowledge of Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses
  • Experience with advanced analytics or predictive modeling
